As a CTB Pain Specialist with expertise in both upper and lower body pain, I bring a targeted approach to help clients overcome shoulder and sciatic pain. Using Coaching the Body’s unique method of integrating traditional Thai bodywork with trigger point therapy, I focus on restoring pain-free range of motion and alleviating pain at its true source. By addressing the root cause of pain, rather than merely treating symptoms, my sessions are designed to help everyday individuals and aging athletes recover freedom of movement. With a background in martial arts conditioning and over 50 years of experience, I understand the importance of resilience and strength for daily function. Paul is an experienced massage therapist who enjoys performing lots of different types of massage. His real talent however, is as a master of trigger point release work as well as Sports Massage and Injury Massage. His massage has been described as- “intense but extremely effective” and “A miracle worker! you were able to get rid of the pain that no one else could”. Paul is skilled with gua sha, cupping, massage gun and point stimulator tools as well as having an extensive knowledge in rehab and strengthening movements and exercises. He has certified in Coaching the Body for both the upper body and lower body specialist trainings.

Ronda is a board certified & licensed massage therapist who has completed all 52 weeks of the CTB year 1 membership. She is also a certified kinesiotape practitioner & has been practicing massage & bodywork since 1983; primarily working with people who have had acute & chronic pain, or who want to increase their range of motion & performance. I primarily do Deep-Tissue work in a gentle way…applying CTB, Alexander, Feldenkrais & Trigger Point principles to the myofascial work…many people find it gentle enough to sleep through much of the session. I am also certified in Kinesiotape (CKTP+) & Fascial Movement Taping (FMT1) which uses Kinesiology Taping on issues of pain, movement issues, edema, posture, nerve entrapment & scars. Also studying Katy Bowman’s work, (who is a bio-mechanic) I also offer information about how increasing client’s awareness & teaching them about using alignment points, load disbursement & weight transmission within their body will help them to pay better attention to their everyday actions or inactions & positions throughout the day thereby reducing their pain. Muscle Medicine specializes in unlocking pain patterns in the body through the Coaching The Body® method, using trigger point therapy and Thai Massage movements. In my practice I focus on getting to the sources of pain through trigger point therapy and orthopedic massage techniques within the broader modality of Thai Bodywork and the Clinical Thai Bodywork methods developed by Chuck Duff et al. I have been working as a therapist since 2005, adding Thai Bodywork to my repertoire in 2009.

Northeast Ohio Clinical Massage is a private practice bodywork studio owned and operated by Kayla Duncan, LMT. In addition to clinical massage therapy, Kayla utilizes Coaching the Body to treat various forms of shoulder dyskinesia. Her specialty focus is treating upper body dysfunction of the head, neck, and shoulders with trigger point therapy.

He is currently sharing time between Evanston, IL, where he is an assistant teacher and senior practitioner at CTBI; and Iowa City, IA, where he teaches Posture and Movement Classes at Heartland Yoga and provides CTB™ services. Josh’s primary interest is helping people eliminate pain so that they can return to the lifestyle they want to live. To help clients achieve this goal, Josh draws on over twenty years of study of traditional forms of posture, movement and breath.
