Doug is a CTB™ Master Practitioner. He is an instructor and senior practitioner at CTBI in Evanston, IL. and has a private practice in Aurora, CO. His passions are: helping pain sufferers, evolving the understanding and treatment of pain and movement dysfunction, and spreading the CTB™ knowledge.
The root causes of pain are shockingly overlooked and pain itself is misunderstood by most medical practitioners. Coaching The Body™ is an extremely effective system for understanding and treating acute and chronic pain, even in severe cases where there has been little improvement after orthopedic surgery and physical therapy.
Doug started his studies in 2011, completed the Thai Bodywork certification in 2014, then apprenticed with Chuck Duff for 2 years and completed the Coaching The Body™ clinical certification in 2016. He is also a certified yoga teacher, personal trainer and corrective exercise specialist.

For many years now, I have devoted myself to helping athletes and others achieve peak performance in their lives by optimizing the functioning of their muscles. I’ve been leveraging my background in nuclear medicine and my initial certification in traditional Thai bodywork with my certification studies over the last several years at the Coaching The Body™ Institute. Coaching The Body™ is a modality based on trigger point therapy and neuroscience that uses pain hacking techniques to quickly restore muscle strength, function and pain-free movement. It involves sophisticated movement-based bodywork techniques combined with therapeutic vibration and neurological distraction to bring muscles back to health faster than anything I’ve seen. As an athletic individual myself, I’m passionate about applying these techniques with amateur and professional athletes and being their secret weapon for success.

Due to my own 20+ year struggle with pain, I’ve tried every therapy imaginable until Coaching The Body™ (CTB) provided effective relief. I received a CTB™ session and my teacher did what two years of 2-3 physical therapy sessions per week and weekly deep tissue massages couldn’t do. He took away my shoulder/neck pain that had lasted 3 months within one session; I was sold. I signed up for the masters program! CTB™ combined my favorite aspects from various therapies into one process that actually works! I am a Coaching The Body™ Practitioner of Sciatica Pain, Shoulder Pain and pretty much can help all the pains of the body! I do make house calls!
Through these practices, I have been able to combine my love of people and personal expression of art, yoga, health, and dance to help folks find freedom in their lives. The goal is to work together to find the roots of your pain so you can have the freedom to do all your favorite things and live your best life!!!

I’m a veteran owned business and have been in business since 2014. I’m a Licensed and insured Massage Therapist based out of Norman, Oklahoma. I went to the Wisconsin School of Massage Therapy and graduated July 30, 2014. As a Massage Therapist/ Pain Hacker I provide Relaxing and Therapeutic massages at affordable prices! As a Certified Coaching the Body Upper Body Specialist I also offer Coaching the Body sessions. With the Coaching the Body Sessions you could be moving pain free in as little as 1-3 sessions. The Coaching the Body Sessions interrupt the pain cycle with rapid vibration from a percussion tool, called the Muscle Liberator. This allows the muscles to move with less pain to restore proper range of motion and muscle functionality. I also like to use contract/relax stretches’ within the Coaching the Body sessions. I have taken various classes to increase my knowledge and skills as a Massage Therapist. Some of the classes include Coaching the Body by Chuck Duff, Rock Blading through FMT, Kinesiology taping through FMT, Rock Pods (cupping) through FMT, Myofascial release, Reflexology just to name a few. I can provide Light to Deep pressure and some of my services include: Relaxation (Swedish), Therapeutic/Trigger-point, Deep Tissue, Myofascial release, Geriatric, Rapid Trigger-Point Relief, Assisted Stretching, Coaching the Body, just to name a few. I provide chair massage for events and parties, call for a quote! Would it be OK if you booked your appointment today, Everybody needs a Massage. Remember: Regular Bodywork makes the Body Work!
