Chuck Duff founded Thai Bodywork and Coaching The Body Institute in 2001. He is author of the Amazon bestselling book, ENDING PAIN, describing his revolutionary ideas about solving chronic pain. Chuck is a talented bodyworker and trigger point therapist who studied Thai massage in Thailand, Canada and the US twenty-five years ago before becoming a trigger point therapist. He is a well-respected teacher, speaker and therapist. Chuck does client sessions and student mentoring at his studio in Evanston, IL as well as virtual sessions online. The CTB™ approach to the treatment of pain is completely unique and very effective, synthesizing the traditional techniques of Thai massage with an in-depth knowledge of western clinical approaches, modern neuroscience, trigger point therapy and asian medicine. Most pain comes from trigger points in muscles and can be eliminated fully and efficiently by understanding its true origins using the principles and techniques of Coaching The Body®. In-person bodywork sessions with Chuck Duff are available in Evanston, IL and cost $200 for 60-75 minutes. Chuck’s work is oriented toward identifying underlying causes of your pain as well as providing symptomatic relief, and our aim is to get you informed and independent so you can stay out of pain.

Doug is a CTB™ Master Practitioner.  He is an instructor and senior practitioner at CTBI in Evanston, IL. and has a private practice in Aurora, CO. His passions are:  helping pain sufferers, evolving the understanding and treatment of pain and movement dysfunction, and spreading the CTB™ knowledge.   The root causes of pain are shockingly overlooked and pain itself is misunderstood by most medical practitioners.  Coaching The Body™ is an extremely effective system for understanding and treating acute and chronic pain, even in severe cases where there has been little improvement after orthopedic surgery and physical therapy.   Doug started his studies in 2011, completed the Thai Bodywork certification in 2014, then apprenticed with Chuck Duff for 2 years and completed the Coaching The Body™ clinical certification in 2016.  He is also a certified yoga teacher, personal trainer and corrective exercise specialist.
